About MGIK

The Moscow State Institute of Culture is the country's main university for training specialists in the field of culture and art.

Today IPCC has 6 faculties, more than 5,000 students and 30 areas of study.

We can offer our applicants a complete educational track: from pre-university training to dissertation defense.

IPCC is a center of creative and scientific activity.

More than 200 doctors and candidates of sciences, 15 people's and more than 30 honored artists work at the university.

Performances of the Youth Experimental Theatre, evenings of modern choreography, jazz concerts, performances by the Opera Studio, exhibitions of photography and design, open screenings of the Department of Cinematography, Stand Up parties and much more.

With this active creative life, the institute confidently ranks first among the universities of the Ministry of Culture (41 institutions) in terms of the number of publications in the journals VAK, Web of Science and Scopus.

Студенту института всегда есть чем заняться и куда сходить. Спектакли Молодежного экспериментального театра, вечера современной хореографии, джазовые концерты, постановки Оперной студии, выставки фотографии и дизайна, открытые показы кафедры киноискусства, Stand Up вечеринки и многое другое.

При этой активной творческой жизни институт уверенно занимает первое место среди вузов Министерства культуры (41 учреждение) по количеству публикаций в журналах ВАК, Web of Science и Scopus.

IPCC is a classic suburban campus. By public transport from the university to the center of Moscow can be reached in half an hour, while the university itself is located on the picturesque river bank. The educational buildings and dormitories of the institute are located on the territory of a century-old park with an area of ​​more than 20 hectares, which merges with the Ecoberg city park. There is a sports complex, a football field, and a swimming pool on the territory of the university. And even an apple orchard. From the door of the hostel to the door of the classrooms - 5 minutes. Educational and creative center, educational film pavilion, educational television studio, educational recording studio, photography laboratory, arts and crafts center, student canteen, library - always within walking distance.

The complex of dormitories of the Institute of Culture is more than 1600 residential places. At the same time, the bulk of the housing stock is apartment-type dormitories. No blocks! One-, two- and three-room apartments with their own kitchens and bathrooms.

The material and technical base of the Institute is constantly updated. We are developing and getting even better and we are waiting for the same ambitious and purposeful applicants!

МГИК – классический пригородный кампус. На общественном транспорте от вуза до центра Москвы можно добраться за полчаса, при этом сам вуз находится на живописном берегу реки. Учебные корпуса и общежития института расположены на территории векового парка площадью более 20 га, который смыкается с городским парком «Экоберг». Есть на территории вуза и свой спортивный комплекс, и футбольное поле, и бассейн. И даже яблоневый сад. От двери общежития до двери учебных аудиторий – 5 минут. Учебно-творческий центр, учебный кинопавильон, учебная телестудия, учебная студия звукозаписи, лаборатория фототворчества, центр декоративно-прикладного искусства, студенческая столовая, библиотека – всегда в шаговой доступности.

Комплекс общежитий института культуры – это более 1600 жилых мест. При этом основной объем жилого фонда – это общежития квартирного типа. Никаких блоков! Одно-, двух- и трехкомнатные квартиры со своими кухнями и ванными комнатами.

Материально-техническая база института постоянно обновляется. Мы развиваемся и становимся еще лучше и ждем таких же амбициозных и целеустремленных абитуриентов!
